Please be aware that traffic in Virginia Beach nearer to the 5th Street Beach Stage is known to be busier than normal around times of the major events. Always allow plenty of time to arrive, park and then walk to the entrance.

5th Street Beach Stage is located at 500 Atlantic Ave Virginia Beach, VA 23451. If you are driving in, then please plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes before the show so you have plenty of time to find parking and get to the event.

Driving Directions

Traveling from routes Northwest of the Hampton Roads Region:

Motorists are encouraged to use a faster, alternate route via I-664 Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel (MMMBT), off of I-64 East, to make getting here a breeze. While the mileage to reach the beach could be greater, I-664 tends to be less congested and the time spent idling in traffic is statistically reduced. Simply take I-64 East, to I-664 (Exit # 264), to I-264 (Exit # 15 A), which will lead to the oceanfront. When leaving to return home, take I-264 West to I-664 North (Exit #299) to I-64 West (Exit #1 A).

Traveling from the West or using Interstate 64, U.S. 460 or U.S. 58. 

From the north and south, convenient routes include Interstates 85 or 95, U.S. 17 and U.S. 13 (crossing the world-famous Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel, a 17-mile span connecting Virginia’s Eastern Shore with Virginia Beach). These routes intersect with Interstate 64, which connects with the Virginia Beach-Norfolk Expressway, Interstate 264, and leads directly to the Virginia Beach oceanfront.
